What's the difference between an o-ring dirtbike chain and an x-ring one?

Also what makes them so good?

the O ring has a single point of contact between the ring and the steel end plates, the Xring has 2 points of contact (better sealing) For as often as I like to change my chains, an O ring is just a more economical choice...but If you don't ride as much as I do (typically 10-15000 miles per season, an X ring would be a good choice for you.
